I am not sure if it's because of my very painful and emotionally scarring experience trying different veggie dogs - i.e., Tofurkey dogs and Smart Deli dogs - but these 50 calorie Morningstar Farms dogs totally blew me away! SO amazingly good...they tasted like real hot dogs. I have to hand it to Morningstar Farms, they know how to make veggie foods taste like meat. These dogs have basically no fat and MORE protein than a beef or turkey dog, which surprised me. They also have no cholesterol (unlike beef and turkey dogs). These contain corn syrup solids, so if you are cutting those out, watch out.
