Calorista takes your privacy very seriously. This Privacy Statement describes how we treat the information we collect when you visit Calorista.com (herein, “Site”), register to review food items, participate in the forums and/or suggestions, and sign up for the Calorista newsletter.
Personal and Non-Personal Information.
Calorista collects two types of information from visitors or users of the Site: "personally identifiable information," such as your name and E-mail address and "aggregate" or "non-personally identifiable information", such as information about a user's use of the Sites (for example, how many users log on to Sites on a daily basis or view a particular article).

Among the many Services which Calorista offers subscribers on the Site, we provide voluntary message and review boards and an interactive forum. Please be aware that Calorista makes no commitment to monitor these reviews and forums. Furthermore, any information which you may post to a forum, including your personally identifiable information, will be disclosed and available to all users of that forum, and is therefore no longer private. By using the forums, you agree that Calorista is not responsible for any information that you disclose or communicate online in such forums, and any disclosures you make are at your own risk. Calorista reserves the right to republish your postings (in whole or part), taken from the forums, anywhere on the Sites, or elsewhere on the Web in any format or any other medium, including print and radio, without prior notice or your express consent.
Review and Access.
On our site under the link “My Account”, you are able to correct, update or modify your personal information and passwords at any time.
Choice/Opt-Out.
If we ever send you information by e-mail that you did not expressly request, we will provide you with a link to our site where you can unsubscribe and “opt out” of receiving future notices.
Cookies.
Like most sites Calorista makes use of browser "cookies." Cookies are small text files placed on your computer's hard disk by our server. They allow us to quickly check your status as a subscriber and facilitate access to your preferences. Calorista will never use cookies to retrieve information from a computer that is unrelated to our site or services.
