VitaminWater 10 has now become VitaminWater Zero, and I've heard mixed reviews. Some really don't like the taste of the new zero calorie version, but I have to say I do (although I've only tried grape raspberry so far). I have also recently become more accustomed to things tasting less sweet, as I've been working REALLY hard to cut back on sugar, something I'm encouraging all of my readers to do. One serving of this has 120% of the daily allowance of Vitamin C, and now 40% of the daily allowance of Vitamins B3, B5, B6 & B12! This is a vast improvement from the regular VitaminWater no doubt (which has 125 calories and 33 grams of sugar in the bottle)...but buyers still beware: there is no evidence that drinks containing supplemental vitamins and antioxidants have the same effect in the body as vitamins and antioxidants that come from pure, raw sources. (See my "superfood" article).

Yeeee-HEW! The good people at VitaminWater read my mind - there is now an antioxidant rich green tea that is tasty, tasty, TASTY. This all natural beverage is perfectly sweetened and has the VitaminWater taste you know and love, but with a green tea essence. It's perfect for those of us who don't really love the taste of green tea so much since it has kind of a lemonade-style green tea flavor. I've had one every day since I spotted these on the shelves, so I'm definitely hooked. This tea version has Vitamin C, B vitamins, plus the special antioxidant EGCG that comes with green tea and is VERY potent. I don't know what else to say but xoxoxoxoxo! :):)

If you've ever dined at a Moroccan restaurant, you know that one of the many awesome things about it is the wonderful green tea that is served (very artistically, I might add) at the beginning of the meal. I never thought of trying to get this tea outside of the restaurant - until I spied it on the grocery shelf. Given all of the amazing benefits of green tea (it boosts metabolism - aiding in weight loss, and contains antioxidants that may fight aging, heart disease and cancer), I've wanted to make a habit of drinking it daily, but didn't like the store-bought flavors. Well, until now...the natural, genuinely Moroccan flavor of this organic green tea is awesome. Also, this has only 1/4 the caffeine of a cup of coffee, so you can drink it without ODing on caffeine.

Wow, a "milk" to beat Almond Breeze on calories, sodium and fat! Save 10 calories with this Almond Dream non-dairy beverage. This has more of a real almondy taste than Almond Breeze, which is a good and a bad thing. A good thing because the almonds taste great, but a bad thing when this is mixed with cereals where the deep almond taste doesn't mesh well and can overpower the cereal. However, because this is the lowest calorie and lowest sodium 'milk' I have found yet, I'm gonna make the switch whenever possible.
