The Taste: Hmm. I hate to judge all of Vita Coco by this one flavor because I have a feeling that some of other flavors are probably good, but this particular one is just not happenin'. I usually like the taste of a little juice added to coconut water because it gives it a touch of fruity sweet flavor that makes it a little more like a juice drink. However, in this case, the combination of flavors do not go well together. The drink ends up tasting like a muted acai juice that has some weird bitter, almost plasticky taste to it. I don't taste any pomegranate at all, or if it is there, it's part of the odd mixture that is unrecognizable as pomegranate. All that said, I’m going to go out and try the tangerine or peach varieties before I make a final judgment on Vita Coco, as those seem to naturally match better with the flavor of coconut water.
The Nutrition: Coconut water makes a fantastic natural sports drink because it replenishes several essential nutrients that are lost when we sweat, like potassium and sodium. Coconut water has five electrolytes (calcium, potassium, phosphorus, magnesium and sodium). It is a much better option than most sports drinks because it does not have artificial chemicals, added sugars and/or preservatives, and it has tons more potassium than the average sports drink. One big difference I noticed between Vita Coco and O.N.E. coconut waters is that Vita Coco has more than double the amount of potassium and vitamin C, so if you can find a Vita Coco flavor you like, I’d go with this brand.
The Flavors: Besides this flavor, Vita Coco has Plain, with Pineapple, with Peach & Mango and with Tangerine.

Tuscan-y, zesty, veggie...and just plain yummy. Squash, eggplant, sweet potatoes all rolled into a fresh, delicious sun dried tomato lasagna-style whole grain pasta dish. Tons and tons of nutrition - fiber, protein, potassium, vitamins A & C, calcium and iron. Downsides: Loads of sodium, higher in fat and fairly high in sugars.

This was one of most chip-like soy products I've tried yet (Mr. Krispers rice crisps take that prize), so that part is pretty cool. Very crispy, light, and a nice sour cream taste. I would say that I was hoping for a little more of a strong sour cream flavor, and instead this has a slightly weird aftertaste, but overall pretty good. This is a great place to start if you really want something more chip-like, however, as flavor goes I'd say 365 soy crisps or Glenny's crisps have a much richer flavor. These have lots of protein (as usual with soy crisps), are low in fat, higher in fiber and pretty good on sodium (for a salty chip snack). Instead of potato, soytato is definitely a good way to go!

Livin' for these veggie ribs! I am so insanely excited that Morningstar Farms created these, thank you. These are tasty (thes are EXACT duplicates of Gardenburger's riblets, so if you've tried those you'll know what you are getting. It appears that Kellogg has moved these from their Gardenburger brand to their Morningstar Farms brand and lowered the price - nice). They are also now available just about anywhere. These riblets are high in protein, fiber and no cholesterol. But, WOWSA. Watch the mountain of salt and sugar in these!
