Replace your iceberg lettuce salads with spinach - it's nutritionally amazing. It is rich in antioxidants, vitamin A (which boosts immunity & prevents vision loss), vitamin C (important for wound healing and strong blood vessels), vitamin K (which aids in blood clotting), folic acid (prevents folate deficiency and anemia in pregnant women), iron (which prevents anemia), magnesium (which may help prevent high blood pressure), protein (for muscle & bone building) and fiber (for digestive health & weight loss). Gotta do it!

Not sure why Ian's markets these to kids - no fair! They are also awesome for health-conscious adults who happen to like delicious fries. These all natural sweet potato fries are low in saturated fat, full of Vitamin A & C, and contain no cholesterol, HFCS or artificial sweeteners! Serve these up and hide the box - no one has to know.

Goji is arguably one of the most powerful "superfoods" known. These little berries from the Himalayan mountains have more Vitamin C than oranges, more beta carotene than carrots and more iron than spinach in 1 little ounce! They have 20 trace minerals and 8 amino acids, and have protein as well as soluble fiber. ALL of that, and I can't believe how good these taste. They are like a sweet, dried raspberry, which makes them a nice addition to smoothies, or you can just eat them plain. You want to make sure to pick up the raw powders or berries, as processed ones may not provide the same benefits, which is why I use Navitas brand powder and berries. IMPORTANT: goji berries have been shown to adversely interact with some drugs, so if you are taking medication, consult your doctor before integrating these into your diet.

This juice is basically fortified V8 juice with an extra two servings of fruit (along with the regular two serving of vegetables).
The Taste: I like the taste of it, but you have to like tomato juice. It does have a slight berry after-taste, which is tastefully unique. The fruit in the drink is goji berries, which are loaded with antioxidants, not to mention the fact that they also serve to sweeten the juice, so there is no added processed sugar.
The Nutrition: It does have more sodium than the low sodium V8 (which has 140mg of sodium), but less than the regular variety. Honestly, I wish they'd take out a little more sodium, as it would be good with less. This veggie juice is a much better option than the fruit juices from Genesis Today, as it has 1/3 of the calories and sugar of the fruit juices. Going for fruit and veggie juice blends is the way to go in general as long as you can find a blend you like that doesn’t have processed sugar or too much sodium.
