This is a VERY low calorie substitute for real cream. No cholesterol, no saturated fat and it contains minerals! It's actually not bad - it has a very nutty taste, so I think you have to be careful adding it to certain foods. The issue here is that I'm not sure how easy this is to find - I found it at Whole Foods and it is sold online. I used this in my coffee which was pretty awesome! It is so much richer than fat free creamer...and it is all natural.

This creamer is not bad, but admittedly I'm not doing cartwheels over it, what can I say. It's not really exciting or bursting with flavor. However, this is one of those items where there are NOT many options if you are cutting out hydrogenated oils. Coffee-mate creamers have hydrogenated oils (AKA trans fat), which is a pretty enormous bummer for those of us flavored coffee addicts who have decided to say "no" to trans fat. The only options left are this Silk creamer (also in French vanilla and hazelnut) and fat free half and half. I mix this with dark chocolate cocoa mix in order to make mochas, which I have to say isn't bad! I've also learned to use coconut, orange, peppermint, and almond flavorings to mix up the flavors of my morning coffee.

Nice! This all natural, dairy free, soy free, gluten free, fat free and lactose free coffee creamer made from coconut milk is a very healthful and delicious alternative to hydrogenated oil ridden creamers like Coffee-Mate. It is a little more watery than regular creamers, but the taste is so rich and coconut-y that you don't miss the thickness. You taste the nice hazelnut flavor, but it is definitely mixed in with the flavor of the coconut milk - so if you don't like coconut-flavored coffee, you won't like this. Coconut milk is known for supporting your immune system, so it is a great thing to add to your morning coffee. I heart it!
