If you couldn't tell by the name, these are TASTY! They are spicy, too, so if you don't like spicy then these aren't for you. With 155 calories per serving (or 310 for the entire box), these are high in fiber, low in carbs and gluten free. If you are like me and are crazy about Indian food, but not so crazy about the bazillion calories that come with it, then let me introduce you to your new best food friend. But before you run away into the sunset, watch the fat!

Paneer that kicks rear! After finishing up my article about low sodium foods, I found this new Amy's dish in my regular local grocery store. "Light in Sodium" Mattar Paneer...which, of course, I snatched up and raced home to eat. After the first bite, I realized that this is one of those ultra, mega superstar foods: fabulously tasty, organic, lower in sodium (obviously), high in fiber, very low cals/gram (or calorie density) and a good source of protein. No longer fear paneer!

Maybe my expectations were too high? Maybe I'm crazy? I'm not sure, but I LOVE, LOVE paneer tikka, and I really did not like this dish so much. There was so much rice per teeny piece of paneer (only 6 little pieces total) that I felt like I was just eating a bowl of Indian rice. High fat content too. I read other blogs that raved about this dish, though, so hey, if you disagree write in! Let's discuss...
