12.18.09: What Does "All Natural" Mean?! |
"All natural" is teetering on the edge of becoming mainstream. Case in point? Pizza Hut. Their new "all natural" pizzas have hit the stores and marked the beginning of...well, something. I'm not entirely sure what, though. It seems like a good thing, but is it? If Pizza Hut can use the term "all natural", doesn't it make you question how strict the requirements are to earn the status? Before the "all natural" food craze completely takes over, let's take a step back and make sure we know exactly what it does and does NOT mean. Prepare to be shocked!

| 12.18.09: Yogi is Granola Greatness! |
This bag was pretty much gone soon after I bought it. I ate it straight out of the bag, added nothing, and loved every single bite. It has crunch granola flakes that are bursting with blueberry flavor - so much that the taste reminded me of eating a blueberry muffin (with a very different texture, obviously, but you get my drift). At 110 calories and low in fat, low in sodium and relativelylow in sugar, this granola greatness is also a good source of whole grains and omega 3. Yogi uses all of the ancient grains (spelt, quinoa, and amaranth) which are rich in vitamins and minerals. A Calorista top pick FOR SURE!
